Programmer-Senior Web Development Manager
Job Description
Senior Developer needed to take the lead on a high-profile project(s). Front-end is ASP.NET/C# with an application class library. Back-end is SQL Server 2000 stored procedures and tables. Developer will mentor other developers on team and provide code review standards. This candidate should possess strong accomplished skills in Web based environments to include C#.NET, XML, HTML, Javascript, CSS, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, IIS, SQL Server Database. ASP with VB and coldfusion a plus.
Additional Responsibilites include:
Architect, design and implement highly scalable and reliable enterprise n-tier distributed applications using Microsoft .NET technologies in the Windows environment.
Develop advanced applications using C#, TCP/IP, and XML SOAP technologies.
Produce high quality production software using industry best practices.
Work in a team environment interacting with IT developers, administrators, management and end users.
Proficient in producing excellent, thorough and concise requirements, design, and development documentation.
Requirements:
An extremely strong understanding of the design, testing and implementation processes with hands-on knowledge of system(s) & component(s) interaction.
Ability to work under tight time constraints with changing requirements.
Experienced development for load balanced & redundant environment.
Specific knowledge of the effects of load (traffic) on components being designed for production use.
Intimately involved with pre-release testing procedures and LIVE post-release bug identification/fix procedures.
Experience developing commercial web based software with C# and .NET technology.
7 years of full life cycle development with an emphasis on incremental, iterative development and deployment.
5 years of C# experience and 3 years of experience using MS SQL and/or other relational databases.
Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong written and verbal skills from both business and technical perspectives.
4-year college degree in Information Science, Computer Science or related field.
